GXPME was founded to enable business leaders to accelerate growth through access to data, industry intelligence & networks; to celebrate the achievements of fast growth companies and to spread the spirit of entrepreneurship.
We deliver our mission by:

OUR STORY
In 2021 our founder Orlando Martins was struggling with disillusionment. Government, media and the general population seemed to be very anti-business.
Calls for greater taxation and regulation of so called ‘fat cats’ seemed to dominate the agenda. This was despite the world being deep in the midst of the Covid-19 lockdown and on the back of Brexit, recession and a very challenging macro economic period.
Businesses and their leaders were under greater and greater strain growth in a flat market was very hard.
Orlando remembered an entrepreneur, who had once given him a big ‘pat on the back’ purely for having made it through his first year in business and recalled Fast Track which had inspired him as a young business leader.
He felt it was time for a new index, one that would tell the un-varnished story of growth and would celebrate the companies, leaders and employees driving the economy. Growth Index was conceived!
Within a few weeks, Orlando had recruited one of the original Fast Track analysts, a former editor of ‘Management Today’ and a project manager to help him make Growth Index a reality.
In April 2022 the first Growth Index was launched and subsequently we have launched five indexes, as well as creating a second brand – Retail Index which was launched in 2024 and will publish its third issue in 2026. Our indexes have appeared in the press, on digital channels and via broadcast media.
